     "ARYA"

Active Relationships for Young Adults (A.R.Y.A.) -Call HARP to see if this program is currently being offered at a School district or parental involvement group near you!

This curriculum teaches relationship skills that are important in life at school work and at home for young adults of High School age. Some of the topics discussed are:
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Money Personalities
  • Positive Perspectives
  • Managing Triggers
  • Anger Management
  • Defining Destructive Behavior
  • Resolving Differences
  • Choices about work, dating and marriage relationships.
  • The biology of romance phases
  • Choosing Friends and Partners
  • Goal setting and habits for a successful life
  • Recognizing, celebrating and using strengths
What also makes A.R.Y.A. for youth so great is that there is an opportunity for parents to know what their child is learning; there is a program for parents too! The program for parents its called Active Adults and can even be used in parent involvement classes!

HARP brings to high school students in Cameron County A.R.Y.A. at no cost.

HARP will provide:
  • Training for leaders
  • Materials and teaching aides for leaders
  • Books for youth



     "Active ADULTS" (Parent Track)

Active adults is the companion program to ARYA (the program for youth). It is great for single adults, parents or just about any group; it is even great for college students! Like A.R.Y.A. it teaches:
  • Effective Communication Skills

This program is also brought to Cameron County at no cost to you!
